Postpicasso
Picasso has been a subject of the artist's work since his beginnings. Over the years, he has created many individual overpaintings and three larger series. See the 2013 publication "Postpicasso" with an essay by art critic Konrad Tobler and a conversation between the artist and Ina Brueckel. _2017/200 Works: Photographs depicting the artist Picasso, painted over with oil paint. _2014/30 Works: Images of Picasso's prints painted over with oil paint. Works from the Vollard Suite were primarily used. _2013/10 Bouquets: Reproductions of Picasso's works painted over with oil paint. Everything colorful is Picasso, everything black and white is Buchmeier. _2012/25 Works: Synthetic resin and acrylic spray on offset print. Picasso's portraits were overpainted, but not completely; individual areas were left in their original form. _1996/Les demoiselles d'avignon: Reproduction enriched with fragments from porn magazines.
